Terms of service

Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. The service

TagOS is provided by Tobias Goral (see the imprint). It lets you link NFC tags to pages about physical objects. TagOS is currently free of charge and still under development, so features may change.

2. Your account

You need a valid email address to register, and you're responsible for keeping your password safe. You can stop using TagOS at any time.

3. Your content

What you enter stays yours. You allow us to store and display it as needed to run the service, including showing it to visitors on pages you make public. You're responsible for making sure your content is lawful and that you may publish any personal data on it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use TagOS for unlawful content, to deceive people who tap a tag, or to attack or overload the service. We may disable tags or accounts that break these rules.

5. Limits of NFC

Standard NFC tags can be copied. Don't rely on a tap as proof of identity or presence, and don't use TagOS as the only source of safety-critical information.

6. Availability and liability

We provide the free service without guaranteed availability. We're liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and where the law doesn't allow a limit. Otherwise, we aren't liable for the free service.

7. Changes

We'll announce material changes to these terms in advance. Paid plans will have their own terms when they become available.

8. Governing law

Spanish law applies, without taking away protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of your home country.
